The bulletin specifies Groups A–E, 36 questions and 42 minutes each. The next group opens only when the preceding timer ends; earlier answers cannot then be changed. NBEMS reserves the option to vary the actual number of timed sections for operational reasons.

NBEMS published these 2026 category-wise qualifying scores out of 720 with their corresponding 50th, 45th and 40th percentiles. They govern basic eligibility; college, specialty, quota and counselling-round closing scores are separate. Check later NBEMS/MoHFW notices for any revision.
